Are revolvers generally drying up?

I was at two gun shops today, and I was very surprised at what I saw. At Safeside Tactical, a fancy-schmancy upscale new place, they had tons of long guns, they had tons of semi-auto pistols, and they had literally just a handful of revolvers, pretty much all of them used trade ins. That really kind of surprised me. And then I went to the place on Sunburst Road, nice little gun shop there as well, and saw the same thing. Pretty much an entire display case full of semi automatics, the entire counter length. But only a few handguns in this store were revolvers. In this particular place, they actually had them in this little plexiglass countertop lock case tower. I was very surprised at that. I admit it's been a little bit since I've been in a gun shop, but I was very surprised at the relative lack of revolvers in both places. Is this a trend in your areas, or is it just maybe a local thing?
