I thought about this a while back but had not tried it. For darn sure I cannot have invented a new idea :-).
Well I got a chance to try it, and it does seem to work. The rear optic dot appears brighter and larger than the front.
Would provide two independently adjustable aiming points and perhaps even a calibrated distance between them to allow ranging an object of known size ??
Might be a useful way to sight in a NEW TRS-25 as well, just slap it on, merge the dot with the one that is already sighted in ??
could try to make a little tube to couple the two and keep out light too, might be worth a little effort for fun :-).
