Andy Blaschik, KGB Arms.

I had a Stenling Mk 5 that did not run well, was loud and collected bullet jacket material in the suppressor. I do not plan to identify the builder.
I asked for advice on the NFA board here and Andy Blascik of KGB was recommended to me. He was courteous, communicated well by phone and e-mail and helped me understand the cost and performance implications of various options. I never had the feeling he was recommending anything that I did not need.
He and John Andrewski (who tweaked and partially rebuilt the gun) rebuilt the gun, completely changed the internals of the front end, gutted the suppressor and added an adjustable front sight. He returned a well finished, quiet and functional MK5 within a reasonable time. He has worked with me to choose loads and to tune the gun and seems to be committed to customer service. In that respect he reminded me of our host on this Board. His prices seem reasonable and his workmanship is excellent. I felt that the suppressor rebuild was probably more challenging than an original build and I am pleased with the result.
I recommend him as a Mk 5 suppressor smith and I have sent a Mk6/Mk4 conversion to him to be upgraded and refinished.
If the Bowers Board were ever to have recommended gunsmith list, he should be on it.
